Noticeably Shaken Petras Address Media After Heart-Wrenching Loss

Utah State's Air Raid Not Enough

An evening that was filled with chaos and bombs! Utah St's Spencer Petras put on a show for the ages as he threw for 675 yards. After two games he has rocketed his way up draft charts and firmly secured his name in Utah St. lore.

The game was there all night for the Aggies of Utah St. to hand USC a devastating upset, but they just couldn't catch a break. From a fumble on the goal line by their star WR on a huge 4th down conversion for 40 yards, to a tipped pass pulled in for a TD by USC on a play that was executed perfectly by Utah St's defense.

After the game Utah St's locker-room was visibly in disbelief after letting a magical night slip through their hands. Petras showed the leader that he truly is by stopping at each player's locker to give them a hug and word of encouragement and support.

When meeting with the press, Petras stated "Everything was there for us. We executed our gameplan. Played our tails off, but the football gods had other plans in mind. Tonight we will feel our feelings. Tomorrow we watch our tape, and start game planning for the next game. As devastated as we are right now, we know this is just one game and we have shown we have the ability to shock the world as the season goes on. I love my brothers and can't wait to take the field with them again".

The good news for Utah St. is this loss comes in the Beefy Bowl and does not affect their conference and regular season standings. Although that is the silver lining, there is no denying how bad this loss feels at the moment.
