With a 42-16 victory over the Rice Owls, The Gators have officially clinched 1st in Pool 26. They will move on to the knockout round of the BEEFY CUP.
The Gator offense was lead by FR RB KD Daniels. Daniels rushed for 165 yards on 9 attempts with 3 trips to the endzone, that was enough to earn him player of the game honors. The Florida defense stole the show recording 3 pick sixes in the first half, Jordan Castell, Shemar James and Sharif Denson all found the endzone.
The Gators return to action in a Week 3 regular season game at home vs Texas A&M.
