Liberty looked impressive through their first 4 games of the year with the help of Quinton Cooley and the ground game. They were up for a big test this week heading to Death Valley to play LSU. The Flames struggled from the start on both sides of the ball. The defense couldn't get off the field, and it didn't help that Kaidon Salter and the offense struggled to move the ball.
The Liberty Flames suffered their first loss of the season to move to 4-1 on the year and looking to go into conference play. We will see how they bounce back next week when they host FIU.
