Temple Looks to Close Out Strong Season

Coach, ElJefe, is looking to close out of a very strong debut season, leading the team to a 12-1 record before their bowl game coming. Many new accomplishments were achieved for the owls in their amazing season including an AAC conference championship appearance and win against a great team in Memphis and great coach.

Talking to coach, he says "there is a lot to be happy about and the team played with heart throughout the whole season. We are excited to see what we can do with our upcoming bowl game against a tough team in Oregon."

Temple looks to cap off their season with a win and lead temple to the most wins the program has had in their history in the NDL. Forrest Brock and others on the team are now carrying a chip on their shoulder after being snubbed from the top 20 Massey Ratings. Temple was hoping to have a slight chance at maybe a playoff birth or even a top 20 finish on the season, but the committee had other plans in mind. (Feels a little bit like Florida State 2023 season)

But after a heartbreaking playoff reveal for ElJefe he still has a decision to make before the next season. A promising season with a heartbreaking finish will have to be put behind as he looks to talk to his family, players, and coaching staff to decide on his future with the team. Many teams will be looking to compete next season and ElJefe looks like he would fit in perfectly with some of them. But he doesn't know if leaving his first team and hometown team is the right choice for him.

As ElJefe ponders on his choices for the next season of the NDL, we look forward to see them make a final push to close out a fenomenal season against the Ducks in the Cheez-It/ Citrus bowl
