Coach Matt came to Wake Forest expecting to stick around for as many seasons as possible. After a whirlwind turn of events he has decided to put some feelers out there and see where he lands.

Coach Matt had a moderately successful season with the Demon Deacons. After their slow 2-4 start, they finished the season on a 5-1 run before dropping their bowl game to the Charlotte 49ers.

"I will miss this team and this group of players, they sure are special and they certainly have the ability to punch above their weight. I wish the Demon Deacons best of luck in their upcoming season and coaching search. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of this program. Until we meet again........"
