Alabama looks to sit atop the SEC come season end.

SEC PRE-SEASON RANKINGS (4 of 4)

Article By: xLiQx

1. ALABAMA – Bama had a bit of a down season last year by Tide standards but they went out
and hired BIGmike. BIGmike guided the Tigers of Missouri to the CFP and I’ll go out on a limb
here and say he gets Bama there as well. While BIGmike has flatly refused to play coach TStep
(SEC Media reached out to BIGmike and he would make one comment ”it’s an auto loss playing
the unofficial league champion.). BM is no slouch, he’s racked up an overall record of 380 – 88
and has won three national titles. Bama has all the tools and both O and D and even their
waterboy was 2 nd team all SEC last year. Anything short of a CFP bid is a failure.
Player to Watch: Junior QB Jalen Milroe. The gunslinger has eight physical and mental cards.
He can run, throw, and juggle eight bowling balls at once. As he rolls so do the Tide.
Prediction: 11-1 (keep an eye on that early match-up with THA U – dealer will be ready to roll).

2. GEORGIA – Coach Cane returns to the Dawgs and he’s raring to go. The bit is much worse
than the bit as UGA made it to the CFP last season. A talented roster and a talented coach
make for one nasty combination. Coach Cane has an overall 186 – 138 but is just 7-9 in bowl
appearances. The Dawgs were kings of the SEC last season but we sense a slight slippage
and the GTech and Miss State losses are not out of our memory bank from last season. Still,
the Dawgs are the most talented roster in all of college football and Cane has enough games
under his belt with them to keep them dialed in and make another CFP run.
Player to Watch: Junior RB Trevor Etienne. The back was near the tops in rushing on the
national scene last season and we expect him to have another monster year in “carrying” the
dogs.
Prediction: 10-2 (a repeat national title game appearance may be a given with UT).

3. TEXAS – HOOK ‘EM! The Longhorns scoop up a top-tier coach with top-tier talent. I already
know what you all are thinking “Coach Steamrollr22 got to the natty with SMU so how can you
have him at number three?!!!” Easy folks, this SEC is loaded! Speaking of loaded, check out
the Horns roster – loaded with studs. Coach Steam will have a lovely squad to work with and
weapons galore on O. I don’t feel he had that at SMU so he’ll have some adjustments there.
Coach Steam should have no issues as his 268 – 91 overall record during his 22 seasons.
Player to Watch: Junior DE Trey Moore. In a conference stacked with talent at DE- Moore is
a disruptive force of nature.
Prediction: 10-2 (this very well could be 12-0 and that UGA game will be big for the Horns (and
Dawgs))

4. TEXAS A&M – Coach sixft has to feel like a seven-footer taking over the highly prized TAMU
team. The Aggies may be overlooked but not by the SEC Media. As a fanboy of sixer I admire
his mistake free brand of play (did I just jinx him???). He took a Cal team last year to a 10-4
mark where they beat quality teams throughout the year. A better team in a tougher conference
is what Dr. Challenge ran up for coach. His overall record is 233 – 124 during his 22 NDL
season. The Aggies have had a roster to win but now they have the coach to get it done.
Player to Watch: Freshman RB Rueben Owens. The super frosh is a lot of speed, a bit of
power, and a lot of butt-kicking. He will be stressing out SEC defensive coordinators all season.
Prediction: 10-2 (We could look like super swamis here or like complete idiots).
