Minnesota's run in the BEEFY Cup came to an end against a very good Washington team. It did not take Washington long to score and that is when Minnesota knew it would be a long day. Surprisingly, Minnesota was able to tie the game at 7-7 and that is how the 1st quarter ended. The 2nd quarter belonged to the Huskies as they put up 28 unanswered points and then coasted the rest of the way allowing a 3rd quarter TD to the Gophers for a 35-14 victory. Minnesota kept turning the ball over and that needs to be solved before going into the last half of the regular season. Max Brosmer needs to make his reads better and the receivers need to make sure they are getting open.
GG Dub! Best of luck!
