ECU Wins Independence Bowl 31-21

Despite 3 interceptions that lead to 21 Ga State points the ECU pirates stayed focused and was able to come away with a 31-21 victory.

ECU DB Revel wouldn't allow this team to fail as he garnished 2 int's and returned one for a TD. This lead to the offense gaining confidence in it's running game with Harris who recorded 2 td's.

Ga State would make a push late in the game but a big defensive stand and tough running by Harris put the game away.

Great game by Coach Grayson. He had his team in position to disrupt the ECU offense and played tough the whole game. Tip of the cap to Coach Grayson and look forward to what he does in the NDL with a better talented team.
