#14. Oregon State 0-5. The Beavers took a tough 55-21 beating to Arizona and a close 34-29 loss to Colorado State have them close to getting their first win on the season.
#13. Utah State 0-3. A blanking at Boise State highlighted block 3 for the Aggies who are still looking for their first win also.
#12. UNLV Rebels 0-3 UNLV has played a murderous schedule with PSU and OSU losses. Another loss to Western Kentucky was not so kind. With Fresno and BC on the schedule it won’t get any easier.
#11. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors 0-3. Chee-Pono attack was throttled back with losses to App St and conference rival SDSU in block 3.
#10. New Mexico Lobos 1-3. New Mexico lost their rival game to NMST 35-14 in block three to fall down the power rankings.
#9. San Jose State 1-3. No games played in block 3 but a date with Nevada is looming. The schedule toughens with games at CSU and Wyoming in block 4.
#8. Air Force Falcons 2-3. Air Force is sitting at 1-1 in block 3 with big academy win at home against Navy and a loss on the road to Wyoming.
#7. Nevada Wolf Pack 1-0. With only 1 game played on the season we really don’t know much on the Wolf Pack……good or bad. #6. Wyoming 1-0 The big mover this week with a win over AF but with only one game played on the season its still wait or see if they are the real deal or a pretender.
#5. Washington State Cougars 2-2. The Cougars drop a spot with no games played in block three. With Boise and Fresno up next, we will find out if they are going to make that top 25 move or not.
#4 Boise State Broncos 2-1. A dominating win over Utah State is nice but we still need to see them square off with WSU. If they get past the Cougs, the PSU game will be huge for national exposure.
#3. San Diego State Aztecs 4-1. Two nice wins at Indiana and BG, BigZ has his Aztecs rolling. Wyoming is next for the MW stalwart.
#2. Colorado State Rams 3-1. #2. Colorado State Rams 3-1. The Rams eked out a win at Oregon State in week 6 but they keep winning so they hold that #2 spot.
#1. Fresno State Bulldogs 5-0. The Bulldogs have continued to play inspiring football and the schedule sets up nice for them to continue their nice run and Cinderella playoff chances. They do have to go on the road in block 4 to play a Nevada team we still don’t know much about along with a dangerous WSU.
