Wisconsin Looks to Rebound on Game Day

Article By: RB4SC22

After a pivotal block 5, Wisconsin sets their focus on gameday as they will play at home vs. #5 Oregon on Saturday morning after the Game Day show.

"It's a quick turn-around, but it's one game and we need to flush it" said Coach RB after an embarrassing performance at Iowa. "What can I say? Iowa had it and we didn't. We got out of our gameplan fast, made some critical mistakes passing, and did exactly what we couldn't do and that's turn the ball over early".

Wisconsin struggled to tackle after the momentum set in, as Iowa ball carries were as shifty as ever and effective. "When you turn the ball over early on the road, it's nearly impossible to overcome in this league. Our guys gave up after we got down 24-0 and it's going to be a learning opportunity."

The doubters start to whisper "Is Wisconsin frauds?" and there is merit to that question. 2 blow out losses on the road where they let games spiral out of control doesn't bode well for the Badgers, but they have the opportunity to turn that around.

"Our win vs. Penn State had us riding high, and then a loss like this vs. Iowa has us riding low. We need to find the middle and stay grounded. The goal is to move forward and stay in the now. We no longer control our destiny but we can stay in it."
