SDSU - 7-5
Coach @bigzz916 has his work cut out for him. A brutal non conference schedule with games against West Virginia and Indiana at home , then a trip to Coral Gables to face The Canes !!
Boise State. 7-5
Coach @iroccafella invited all the big programs to the blue turf. Boise raised some eyebrows when they picked up Tennessee and Florida St at home.. then a trip to Happy Valley to face the Lions of Penn State. Boise better hope the moral of the team isn’t destroyed if they can’t pick up at least one win in out of conference games.
Fresno State 6-6
Coach @oldmanwobbles is one of the 2 new coaches to the MWC , but his Bulldogs are maybe the most talented team in the conference.. 6-6 will be this teams floor with a possible 9-3 if Coach can get some fortunate bounces .
Colorado State 7-5
Coach @johnv9367 went from running the MWC as the commissioner to being one of the top teams in the conference. The Rams picked up USC, Colorado , UNCC and Sam Houston. A bowl game and conference championship is definitely in the grasp of beercop and his Rams.
Nevada -
Coach @graysonhulett is a little behind is scheduling games .. so a prediction won’t happen here. But I know the guy can put up points with the best of them in the conference championship.
New Mexico 8-4 Coach @oksmokeshow could go 8-4 on the season and still finish 3rd or 4th in the conference. With a favorable conference schedule that has the Lobos missing Boise , Nevada and San Jose St. I wouldn’t be surprised if of Bear went 9-3 . Back to back games with SDSU and Washington State could tell a lot about this squad.
Wyoming 5-7
The Cowboys and coach @dakshdarjoe is an interesting team. The pokes could possibly win 5 of their first 7 ball games and be in command of the Mountain West.. but after that the trail could get rough for Wyoming. Good thing for Wyoming is 3 of their last 4 games are at home, the bad thing is Boise and Washington State are 2 of those 4 games.
Air Force 6-6
Keep it clean and simple .. Air Force is great at home and terrible on the road . 6-6 would be a huge accomplishment for the Academy team and make them bowl eligible.
Hawaii 5-7
The Warriors had a disappointing season last year under Coach @jeffdaddy12 , but I don’t expect anything less then a bounce back season for the island boys. If not for a OOC game with the Wolf-Pack this team may be a shoe-in for a bowl game. Watch for a fast start for Hawaii, before they hit a wall with a tough schedule mid season.
San Jose St 3-9. Coach @taruncheel has his work cut out for him this season with the Spartans . The good news he starts off with four straight home games, but the bad news he ends the season on the road with 3 straight games. The Spartans have plenty of talent to prove me wrong and possibly get 6 wins.. but Coach would have to do an amazing job to pull of that achievement .
UNLV 3-9
Damn coach @randallk_17 wasn’t messing around when he said we will play anywhere, anybody , anytime. UNLV will be living on the east coast for the first month of the season as they travel to The Ohio State Buckeyes and Penn State and a home game with TCU trapped in between. I love a MW team stepping up!!!!
Utah St 2-10
The Aggies are coming off a season where they are looking to make a few changes. Coach @stifflerl266 will be looking to stay out of the conference’s basement with his boys. I see this team pulling of an upset or 2 and possibly proving me wrong.
