Typically players follow their coaches through the transfer portal, but in a rare reversal, Coach RB has followed his old Wisconsin Running Back Tawee Walker in the transfer portal to UC this off-season.
When asked why he left, coach RB said "Things were great in Madison, we had some successful seasons, but the roster and NIL program just wasn't where it needed to be to compete in that conference right now. We were ready for some more talent, speed, and a change of scenery to this great conference"
Wisconsin was home for RB, who was born and raised in the great state, but all good things must come to an end. "I'll never rule out a return, but it just seemed like we reached out ceiling. We did some great things, a few top 25 appearances, a 9 win season, 3-0 in bowl games, 3-0 vs. Minnesota, 2-1 vs. Nebraska. It'll always haunt me we didn't beat Iowa, but never say never."
Cincy is excited to show case power and speed in Season 33. When asked where can this team go, with a rye smile coach said "I guess you'll have to tune in to find out".
