Win goals are 1/5th of points.

40% is participation.

40% is coaches reports.

BFIVL's pretty much guaranteed 80% right off the bat.


I'm not sure how many times i have to bring up the "20%" that you guys are completely ignoring.

And you guys are getting WAY too caught up in win goals and keeping teams and COMPLETELY losing sight of what the NDL is all about.

I've brought up the 40/40/20 i think 3 times now and Ank and everyone else has ignored it every single time.

It is quite obvious that some don't really think like 40/40/20, and it is obvious that they put win goals about 80% and participation and coaches reports at about 10% each judging by the posts and how they only wanna talk about win goals.

Hart, are you fucking kidding? That's exactly what happens. You get +3 for being a CC, which is shown nowhere and told to no one. I remember being told to hush about the extra point I got for updating the poll a few seasons ago...

but this is exactly what we need. The whole commish process when it's turned over from one person to another depending on who pays for the league means that it should be transparent and not just done behind closed doors like it has been.

And don't even try to say this hasn't been brought up before, Shel. Everytime it is the entire CC panel comes up and says how hard of a job it is

Nepotism is what is bringing this league down as a whole. We are all equal in this league and should be since JeffMo left.

In case you need a solution, daw's looked good without me looking at it completely. If i could pose a system it would be to let the top 12 (12 conferences?) CR scores get to be CC's for the next season. It sucks that people need points to write-up the conference they're commishing (and it only lasts for about 4 weeks), so just do away with all of it because it just keeps CC's getting the good teams and that's far from fair.

I'm surprised this thread hasnt been locked about 3 pages ago. Its been interesting to read during the comercials though.....

I never knew that I got points for being a Farm ghost. That kicks ass for having to play quite a few lobby games

Yeah I can see both sides of a coin, but it has been this way forever.. It is actually pretty easy to keep an A- team.

Like they say you get 80 points for coaches and perticipation.. The easiest is participation 40 points.

Then you have coaches reports which is another 40. Now myself I feel I should never score less then all 5s but many dont like how much I pass or blitz or what have you... So I normally avg a 90 ..
But less say for the sake of argument you get a 100 .. You only have to get 50 points on season sucess, lets say you dont meet your win goal you loss 40 points,
but you still have away wins, rivarly, and if you beat someone ranked that is more points so you can still get aleast 50pts, which translate to 10 points of overall points.... congrats you have over 90 points which i believe is good enough to keep an a- team. This does not include bowl points if you get them, dynasty points.

Now if you score a 90 like I do... you have to get 14 points for season sucess which then in turn requires you to make win goal, but if you have dynasty points, that will usually save you.

Now A team or better, Is a little tougher but really not much, unless you dont get perfect coach reports..

Really if we want season sucess to mean a little more the 40-40-20 would need re addressing maybe 40 30 30 but we know that wont happen.. So this is the system that we have used and more then likely will continue to use.

And frankly I m weary a bit on uping season sucess.. cause we all know there are already guys who tip toe gameplay already.. But playing constantly in grey areas.. or playing it in key situations, and some just straight out abuse things that are harder to spot..

First i want to apologize to the CC's and mostly to Bama for discussing this on the boards. Shell's last post put me into prospective...Im 32 years old and arguing over a video game? Damn I just told my 3 and 5 year old to quit arguing over Star Wars Legos on the PS2 and a light went off.



Shell I understand the 40/40/20.

I know 40 for your recaps and all the participation and 40 for game play coaches reports ect. I just think the 20 for the win goal is a little low.

1. Show me where i called you a name. Seriously, I want you to show me where I called you a name. This is just yet another example of you hating NDL Florida so much you see stuff that didn't happen. You've done this twice in 2 days now.

i think Coaches Report should be worth 50 because that's incredibly important. put particip to 25% and season success to 25%

that should be the easiest 25% you can get for doing required work, but what really determines ur grade is the kind of player YOU are.
