Also Uncharted 3 is also charging $10 to play online.Shiftdnb wrote:It's not gamefly it's EA that is doing that to you. NCAA is the same as well, but we all buy it new so no one ever complains.SuddenBlues wrote:gamefly is making me pay $10 bucks to try it online. I think that is crazy and refuse to waste my money.

Re: MW3 vs BF3
Should have given it more of a chance Trendon. I was with you for the first few hours I had the game. Just took time to transition.
Re: MW3 vs BF3
Oh, I did. And my opinion of it went from confusion to dislike to do not want. The game is not for me. This is more mindless than Halo and, in my opinion, a gigantic step back from the glory of Modern Warfare 2. If I did not see Battlefield, I bet I'd like it a little more. I've resisted Resistance, Counterstrike, past Battlefields, and Killzone because Modern Warfare was always better. This one is worse than them all. Maybe next year.sixpackdan101 wrote:Should have given it more of a chance Trendon. I was with you for the first few hours I had the game. Just took time to transition.
The maps cook me. Karachi, Overgrown, Terminal, Skid Row, Crash, Highrise. World at War had the greatest maps of all aside from goddamn Dome. Man, are there any memorable maps in this one? The one with the trains is kinda cool. That was it.
Re: MW3 vs BF3
I agree on the maps. There is little variety. Not one map jumps out at me and they all seem to play the exact same way. I know it's still early but usually "great" maps jump out at you immediately.
Re: MW3 vs BF3
its warzone and like the 7th game, what do you guys expect for maps?
the DLC will be good im assuming, it usually is.

Re: MW3 vs BF3
Battlefield will always be the better game in my opinion.
However, Call of Duty is much better suited for the console than Battlefield. I have a feeling all the CoD guys on here would, most likely, change their minds if they played BF3 on a PC. The game was developed for PC and ported to console, but the graphics and immersion the PC brings (not to mention mouse and keyboard) is top notch.
And the sound in BF3 is absolutely incredible

Re: MW3 vs BF3
It's all about the DLC's anymore. I mean just look at Black Ops: 4 dlc's at $15 a pop. That's an extra $60 for those that cant do math, just to get better/more maps. Oh well.nick wrote:its warzone and like the 7th game, what do you guys expect for maps?

Never been a fan of keyboard and mouse games, especially with all the aim bots and such. Give me a controller.Matt90210 wrote:Battlefield will always be the better game in my opinion.

Re: MW3 vs BF3
I won't play PC games for that reason, too. I struggled through Bioshock and Fallout. Although, you can get an adapter that will let you use your Xbox/PS3 controller on your PC
Re: MW3 vs BF3
They give you amazing control...just too much control IMO.
Re: MW3 vs BF3
That isn't to mention that TV's are much bigger, often the same quality as a computer monitor, and in a more comfortable spot of your house. Of course, you could use a TV-out and a wireless controller port but it still seems like a lot of work.
Re: MW3 vs BF3
I think MW3 plays better with a controller than BF3 does, but I can't imagine ever preferring a controller over a mouse and keyboard for an FPS.

That's because you are strange.Matt90210 wrote:I think MW3 plays better with a controller than BF3 does, but I can't imagine ever preferring a controller over a mouse and keyboard for an FPS.

Why would you not want the precise control you get with a mouse and keyboard?trendon wrote:That's because you are strange.Matt90210 wrote:I think MW3 plays better with a controller than BF3 does, but I can't imagine ever preferring a controller over a mouse and keyboard for an FPS.
