You just rinse off the shampoo with the water in the tub? Do I use shampoo? Dammit its not in my 6 page list.
I think you've got the gist of it.
Oh, when its time for dinner, the large round end of the spoon (the not sharp object in the silverware drawer) is the end that food is loaded onto. If you need help hit me up on AIM.

get the bubble bath that is all in 1. Plop them in with a couple toys and let them play. Just take a pouf or wash cloth and rub them down. Biggest thing is don't leave them unattended.
Thanks, so no to the shampoo and just use the bubble bath soap. Thats what I needed to make sure.

Ive fed them plenty, just never had to give them a bath. Not sure why but my wife never asked and it never came up.

Actually why don't you just kill two birds (not kids!) with one stone and use dishwasher detergent in the bath? Kids eat with their hands anyway so its like washing a kid and the dishes.
I wanna see your face if the lil' one creates a couple of Lincoln Logs for you while bathing, You'll probably think "you gotta be shittin' me", then the irony of that thought will hit you. And yes it does happen. My daughter is 8 now, but I was always leery of bathing her when she was younger and often left it to my wife to do. The older one will be easy, it's doin' the same shit you do for yourself. On top of what others have said, watch water temperatures. What is perfect in your mind could be too hot for them.
oh to be a fly on the wall at your house for these few days. it'll be a blast. you'll have a whole new appreciation for your wife, and you'll get some fun time with the kids.
bath time was always fun when the kids were little. as they got older, my wife and i would paper/rock/scissors for it.

Does the smell of your own urine knock you out or what?
I feel your pain brwnbear. When my kid's womb donor and I was still married she usually had the kids bathed when I got home. When we divorced I was left with a 5, 3 and 16 month old all girls and no idea what to do really. I would let the oldest take a bubble bath, she was good about washing, the middle one needed help and of course the little one I would put enough water to cover her legs about half way only. After I got her washed I would let her splash/play while I washed the older kids hair in the sink.
It was easier for me to wash their hair in the sink cause they can lay down on the counter top,it eliminates two things: You bending over the tub and no shampoo in the kids eyes. Plus if you have a spray hose on the sink all you have to do is spray the soap out with it or use the biggest cup to rinse it out.
Now my kids are 10, 8 and 6. The oldest and middle one take showers now but I still help the youngest with her hair.

About 2 1/2 months in and I've only 'assisted' on 1 bath. Just enough to learn something, which probably won't apply in a few weeks, lol.
I think my wife is still stuck in wanting to do all of that, so I just let her go. When the time comes, I'll just hit up this thread and figure it out, then she'll think I'm a genius for knowing it all. Appreciate the posts... win, win for me!
