My owner is a penny pincher. I make the playoffs and get past the first round and he gives me less money for my payroll. Now it doesnt even look like I can sign a FA because of him.

I think thats more so to do with the 100m cap thingy being dropped to 50m. I lost money too, I think everyone did.

Yeah, I can't sign anyone either. I'm lowering the bar to thirty wins this season.

It's starting to look like the 50m cash cap is going to keep teams w high payrolls/budgets high, and handicap those with lower. Unless I'm missing something.

did you cut someone and eat a huge chunk of salary? cause just quick glance in the financials it says you have a $100 mil player payroll, but your salaries add up to $69 million.

Yup. Just means that if you don't have room under your budget, you don't have as much money to bail you out

Yeah, if you're spending your cash to sign FAs you are going to be in trouble later. Owners lower budgets bc teams underperform

Paco Barron's contract legal?

5 years at 21 per, then a team option at 31, then a player option at 31

Reign, I got an email stating that I would lose my first round pick for signing Barron. Is that just because the game doesnt have the new rules programmed in? The new rules stated we don't lose the first round pick....
