I think AA is the way to go in terms of overall league enjoyment.

you miss east lobby room play huhVeniVediV1ci wrote:I realize my vote doesn't matter so I just play to get a ranking for a little while until I give in and only play league games after a while.shel311 wrote: So, VVV, since the league will probably put it up to a vote, why wouldn't you play on both so you can make an informed decision and vote and have your voice heard??
I would be shocked if we went away from heisman again, although I normally enjoy the games on AA more because I like more scoring in games. All of this is because usually I play a very conservative style that involves limited passing because I simply can't pass, and the chances to break more long runs usually makes me a better player.

Translation: I think AA is the way to go. Even though it will be impossible for me to win 4 Heismans, I will do it on AA and the enjoyment of me dominating the league will be fabulous.BIGmike wrote:I think AA is the way to go in terms of overall league enjoyment.

Re: Practicing on which level?
With the way DBs play and UF's DBs in particular, a vote for Heisman is basically saying you approve of BigMike winning 3 straight titles.Cnasty wrote:Poor fella.shel311 wrote: but MUCh harder to pass on.
You sound like Northwestern Nole.
That alone should be enough to vote for AA.

Re: Practicing on which level?
ugh, ok...i said i was going to avoid the whole aa vs heisman topic this year and just play on whateva is decided.
..but i have a big mouth so i'll just say 1 thing
You cant base aa vs heis on Bigmike or VT or any of the top 5 or 6 most winningest guys. Mike is going to win with florida if we played on pre-school level or all-universe.
What needs to be considered is average NDL coach vs average NDL coach.
What level will those 2 guys (who comprise 80% of the league), have the most "fun" and most "simulated like" games.
Thats all im saying...im shutting up now til the decision is made and will be happy eihter way

Re: Practicing on which level?
Hmmmm, just finished playing AA, as I broke off some nice runs with the UNLV team...........yes.........UNLV. High scoring affair in this game, but it was exciting. I am game for either......if we go AA, then I will go with a lower, low team............to make some waves.

Heisman is easier to run on then last year, but MUCh harder to pass on.
So, we'll just be looking at the same old 1st person to 4 INTs wins the league games and instead of only 15-20 guys having more TDs than INTs, we might have 10-15, lol.
I'm hoping for a change from the same old league games and same old league stats we've had on heisman for so many seasons now.
It'll never be completely realistic, but i think AA would give us the best college feel for this game.
i agree. 17-10 is very rare compared to 45-35 in real life, but it happens a lot in our league i think and I would rather have the higher scoring

Re: Practicing on which level?
I don't miss it, per se, but it's not like they're kicking you in the nuts on every play. It's more like real football where you run something until they stop it, while in our league you have to frantically watch what you do to keep someone from reporting youoldschoola wrote: you miss east lobby room play huh????

Re: Practicing on which level?
Either way we go, I am game. I really like this game, and I have not had the chance to say that since NCAA 04 or 05 on the PS2. Graphics, gameplay, smooth online play, passing and running, user controlled players on defense is easier to control. I like it, the camera angles need to be fixed, but overall, AA and Heisman are both pretty good.

Re: Practicing on which level?
I've played a few games now online and I'm leaning more toward AA...just seems to play more fun and not so restrictive. I'll keep playing more though, just first impressions.

Re: Practicing on which level?
easy stan the man, i didn't take any offense to that comment.
I played 1 game so far (damned drinking/work), but I found it was harder to control players on D than it was in last year's game? It may be that i'm far from used to the new game, but normal for sure user picks were dropped in this one. I wonder if a conservative game plan keeps your DBs from catching passes??

Re: Practicing on which level?
I m leaning toward heisman so far I m 70% heisman over AA...
But I have only played a very limited amount of games.. but so far I like it a little better.
