Re: Would You Dock This...
you gotta realize how 99% of leagues that start eventually fail. So it was a "join tons of leagues so you can hopefully have one finish" type scenario.

so is it fair to start in a dime defense then audible to a 4-3,3-4,4-4,5-2,6-4 to counter this offense when it messes with the ai????? just wondering and trying to KEEP IT REAL

Why would you audible down for a WR that shifted sides of the field?oldschoola wrote:so is it fair to start in a dime defense then audible to a 4-3,3-4,4-4,5-2,6-4 to counter this offense when it messes with the ai????? just wondering and trying to KEEP IT REAL

If you're in a 4 WR set with 2 WRs on each side, then send 1 in motion, now there's 1 on one side and 3 on the other side.
Why would the D need to audible down since there's still 4 WRs on the field???

Re: Would You Dock This...
initially i would say no i would not dock for this style of offense. however, i think you would have a 50-50 shot as far as the CR's. i would feel it'd be the motion more than the hot routes that would work on guys' nerves. unintentionally or not, it's gonna chew some clock to a point. as you said this is relative to guys who take a long time to pick their play initially, but you're talking about 95% motion vs. maybe 50% not knowing what play to pick. it's not your fault that ea doesn't or can't have the full options of certain styles in the playbooks though. but i'm rambling. the point is i think you have a 50-50 shot at negative CR's. then you have to factor in if you are beating guys and the percentage may increase. is it fair? maybe not but it is a video game with 119 other guys with different personalities, temperments and ideas of a perfect world. it'll be an "at your own risk" situation i guess.

See, I think the complete opposite.
When I play guys who come out in normal 2RB, 2WR, 1 TE sets virtually every single play of the game, I get bored with that, and it puts me to sleep, lol.
I played Reign and it was a very pleasant change of pace to see a new offense, IMO. And it really didn't take him very long to snap the ball. It wasn't as fast as I snap, lol. But not nearly as bad as others.

maybe 1 or 2 hot routes would be ok but 4 or 5 would be hard to stop its hard enough to keep the man alignment when your in man defense plus you never know when that fbq will take off because its realistic.
i just wanna turn on my ps3, put my dip in,pick my play and play the game win or lose. i always have fun playing that way. yeah in real life i need to make the right adjustments and the right personal changes but the thing is i REALIZE this is a video game and i play to have fun. this game will never be realistic. sorry guys like i posted before i really do think this game is way to much for me i guess i am not good enough for the ndl and the way its headed. i dont blame anyone its just me. sometimes technology just sucks. i miss tecmo bowl

Fear not, you can just use the guess run features and it brings back all those Tecmo Bowl memories of picking the other team's play.oldschoola wrote:i miss tecmo bowl

Sorry, motion every play blows to me. No 2 ways about it, change of pace or not. its virtually impossible to get the ball snapped before 10 seconds on teh play clock most times, its a fact.
If guys wanna dock you for it, thats their perogitive. While itis realistic in REAL life, we're playing 6 minute quarters here, in this video game, its fucking boring to play against

Re: Would You Dock This...
motioning every play is f-ing irritating.
Playing deedub = f-ing irritating, and he's one of the straightest coaches I know.
I wouldn't dock you any points but can promise by halftime I'd stop picking plays use the picture in picture to watch something else while you were offense.
