Article By: BIGmike

San Diego, California - The Louisville Cardinals picked up their first victory of the season tonight, defeating the Aztecs of San Diego State 41-14. On the offensive side of the football the Cardinals were firing on all cylinders as quarterback Teddy Bridgewater turned in a monster of a game, throwing for 292 yards and 4 touchdowns. Bridgewater's primary target was receiver DeVante Parker who hauled in 6 catches for 222 yards and 3 scores. On the defensive side of the football Louisville managed to force 3 turnovers (2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery) and kept Aztec running back Adam Muema under wraps for most of the game. "It's always good to pick up your first win of the season," said coach McDonagh at the post game press conference. "The offense was clicking and the defense did their part as well. Great team effort."

Good game Nick. Good luck the rest of the season.
