Purdue turnovers the to many times to do anything in this one. Defense just could not stop the beavers offense. Are special teams made a field goal 43 was the onl;y bright spot in this one.

Beavers open the 2013 season with a impressive win over the Boilermakers. The game was a lot closer that the scoreboard would show. Turnovers were the downfall for Purdue as the Beavers were able to capitalize on 4 mistakes but only were able to turn those TOs into 12 points. On offense the Beavers were able to move the ball downfield but didn't have much success converting that into TDs. QB Cody Vaz was named player of the game as he converted 15 of 18 passes for 225 yards & 1 TD. He also had 71 yards on the ground as well as a rushing TD. CB Rashard Reynolds was the start on the defensive side of the ball with 2 INTs. Next up for Oregon St. is a battle with Utah which should be a hell of a game.
