Bama would get the ball 1st and drive down field but Tenn would pick off a drag route
Tenn couldnt do anything with it going 3 and out then missing a 48 yard FG.
Bama would drive into the 2nd qt when McCarron would find Cooper for a 24 yard TD to put them up 7-0
Tenn would get the kick return and take it all the way back but would be called for holding.
2 plays later Tenn would run a PA pass then Take off with the QB for a 45 yard gain. Tenn would then get a big 25 yard pass and they looked fired up as the Fb would take it in from 2 yards out to tie th game 7-7
the Tide would take there time and comeback on the field with a nice steady drive ending with a 51 yard FG.
With 1 min left in the half Tenn would look to the air and go 3 and out but the Tides 1st play they went deep and would be picked off by Tenn who would convert it into a 46 yard FG to end the half with the game tied 10-10.
Tenn would get the ball to open the 2nd half and go 3 and out.
Bama would respond with 4 plays over 12 yards and Yeldon would take it in from 11 yards out to put bama up 17-10 in the 3rd.
This time for Tenn on 3rd down Mosley would get a pick for the tide on the corner route.
4 plays Later McCarron would find Jones for a 12 yard TD and just like that the tide was up 24-10
Tenn would get the ball back and go 3 and out again with Bama getting a big 24 yard gain from Howard to end the 3rd then Yeldon would take it in from 5 yards out on the 1st play of the 4th qt to put bama up 31-10
Tenn was not going to go down easy as they would go no Huddle and move it down the field which would lead to a 22 yard TD pass to Croom to put them down 31-17.
on the 2nd play for Bama Tenn would pick them off again deep as it looked as if Kenny Bell had a step on the defenders.
Tenn would get a big 19 yard pass to Howard but 3 straight sacks would end the tenn drive with 3:15 left.
Bama would get the ball back looking to put the nail in the coffin
McCarron would find Yeldon on a screen for a 23 yard gain. Then 2 plays later McCarron would find Yeldon again for a 36 yard TD putting them up 38-17
Tenn would still try hard going no huddle but Sunseri would pick them off
Tenn would try an use there timeouts but a big 26 yard run by Yeldon would end there last hopes as Bama would take knees to end the game
