Eugene, OR (AP), The Oregon Ducks finished their season today with a 21-3 Rose Bowl Victory over Michigan State. After Ducks benefitted from a clipping call that would remove 7 points off the board for Michigan State on their first drive of the game, and settling for 3. The Ducks would take full control of the game. Scoring at will, and causing timely turnovers inside the redzone to earn their first Rose Bowl Title under Coach G.
Mariota earned player of the game completing all 6 of his passes for 156 and 1 touchdown, and rushed for another.

"First off it is nice to finally win one of these Rose Bowls, with this team I should of definately done it sooner. It has been a good run here in my NDL career, over the long haul there is definately been more good then bad, and I am thankful of my time here. Unfortunately I was not able to bring Oregon,Nebraska, or Cal a national title, but I tried. It has been nice forming some solid friendships over the years, and I ll look forward to keeping those going pass here, as my NDL career ends here today. It was nice to end it with a win. It has been a blast and I will see you all around."
