Iowa Improves to 2-0 Behind Defense

Iowa got back to its roots in week 2. The Hawkeyes outrushed their opponents 222 to 34 yards. The defense led the way with 6 turnovers, while the offense cut down their turnovers to only 1. Iowa HB Leshon Williams rushed the ball 36 times for 183 yards. Coach Wildes was apologetic after the game, "That's on me, I forgot to get the backups reps and that won't happen again. That's not my way of doing things, and it's not the NDL way."
