The Northwestern Wildcats behind Coach Matt54987 destroyed the Washington Huskies 35-0, and Will Rogers just keeps throwing pick sixes.
"I'm thinking about giving up passing altogether," said Rogers after the game. "I just don't know what I'm doing out there."
Rogers completed 11-21 passes with 5 interceptions, two for touchdowns. Jonah Coleman was again the bright spot for the Huskies, with 14 carries for 89 yards.
The Huskies were "only" down 21-0 with 2:00 to play in the first half, but two interceptions led to two scores, and after a disconnect, it was just up to Northwestern to run the clock and let the Huskies keep making mistakes.
"Clearly we don't have any answers right now," said the coach. "The good news is we're about to start facing a lot tougher opposition. So...damn."
Northwestern opens Big 10 play with an impressive 35-0 performance and that was just the first half! Unfortunately the performance was so good the power was lost from Husky stadium which caused a loss of game and player stats. The game was eventually restarted and the score remained the same. This is a huge win for the Wildcats as they are big time underdogs in a stacked Big 10.
