Coastal Carolina moved to 4-0 in Fun Belt play with a ground and pound win over James Madison in the Dukes first home game of the season. Running back Braydon Bennett decided he would not be stopped as he ran for 295 yards through massive holes developed by the Chanticleers offensive line the entire game. Coach FiredUpChip mentioned that the performance was "awe inspiring" and a true "display of pure will and determination." Coach also went on to say that "people don't always notice the offensive and defensive lines in football games, but today it was impossible to ignore the great job we did in the trenches to allow us to get a tough victory over a great team."
In a heated Fun Belt East Division, it may prove crucial that Coastal won this head-to-head matchup against a James Madison team that only has 1 loss in conference at the moment. As John Bon Jovi says, this team from Conway is "halfway there" on its march to a Fun Belt Championship game.
