BOULDER, COLORADO - AP

K-State and Colorado both entered this game reeling a bit and both were hopeful for a turnaround. Kansas State has been good on opening drives the past few games and got out to an early lead, but the Buffs were able to answer quickly over the top to Hunter. From there it was stagnant for much of the rest of the first half. K-state struggled to consistently move the ball, and CU struggled after crossing the KSU 35 to make anything happen.

The Wildcats were able to take the lead in the third, CU again answered. KSU added a FG early 4th quarter and as time ticked away both teams and coaches got more aggressive. Coach outlaw moved his team down the field taking the lead with a little over a minute remaining in the game. Avery Johnson and coach bearass were forced to the air, were struggles have been had all season, were Johnson connected on 4 plays to move down the field eventually hitting Lockett with 0:04 left for the go ahead game winner. Johnson appeared to hang up the ball but Lockett made up for it by stopping short and high pointing the ball and drifted into the end-zone on the landing. It wasn't pretty and there were plenty of big mistakes that were there for the taking but KSU was able to get a big conference win to move to 2-4 (2-2) on the season.

GG outlaw, I think whoever had it last was going to get this one. GL the rest of the way.
