The defense couldn't stop anything and their offense turned the ball over 4 times to never get their momentum going. The coach mentioned shaking up their roster their next time out as their players played flat at times.

Article By: Tuesday night Maction at Maxx Crosby field was sure to be a dandy. On the first play of the game, Cole Snyder found Porter Rooks on a wheel route down the sideline 75 yards to take a 7-0 lead. It is a continued trend of big plays for or against the Eagles to open the game. Another trend continued unfortunately, as Snyder threw a pick six in the 1st quarter. Tonight, however, the Eastern Michigan defense was able to force 2 turnovers in the 1st quarter to back up Snyder. Winning the turnover battle was essential for the rest of the game as Eastern Michigan managed to hold onto the lead. Both Snyder interceptions were tough to swallow, but he played a turnover free 2H and was able to connect with Rooks at the end of the first half to keep a 2 score lead at halftime
Miami fought hard in the second half but could not overcome the turnover bug. Despite cutting it to 38-35 with a 2 pt conversion, Eastern Michigan was able to secure a first down on 3rd and 5 with a RPO to milk the clock. With 2 straight MAC wins the Eagles will look to carry this momentum into the next block
