Coach RB and his team showed their resolve this week, as they stormed back in the 2nd half to beat a frisky Iowa State team.
"They were fast, and I don't even mean their team speed, but more of how they got to the line and ran the play, it was a sight to see" said Coach RB, whos team gave up 38 this week. However, the Knights were fortunate to score 49 and win this football game.
It was looking rough early, as UCF got down 21-7 and was down 10 most of the 1st half. The defense was able to force a few key turnovers to swing the game. The 2nd half was back and forth, but it was UCF would take a lead 35-31 with 3 minutes to go and that's when the fireworks started.
Iowa State had a huge drive to score with 50 seconds left to take the lead. For those who thought that would do it, KJ Jefferson had other plans, as on 2nd and 10 he found his speedy WR J. Johnson for a 75 yard TD connection to take the lead. The next defensive play UCF would intercept the Cyclones to basiscally seal the deal.
