Memphis improved to 4-2 (2-0) on the season with a comeback win over the Mean Green .
The matchup between the teams featured 2 day one NDL veterans and didn’t disappoint.
Memphis was able to get a stop late in the 4th and took possession of the ball with less than a minute remaining. The Tigers calmly marched down the field and were able to secure the win with a FG as time expired.
“Both teams fought hard and we are just fortunate we had the ball last and actually kicked one through the uprights for a change “ said Coach Red afterwards

Another game, another incomplete performance from the Mean Green. 35 points put up by the offense, 3 turnovers forced by the defense, over 100 yard rushing, this should equal a win. But when you surrender 600+ yards of offense, including nearly 270 on the ground, most all other stats are undone. Memphis moved the ball at will, and came up clutch at the end when they needed one more drive, the better team and coach won.
