New Florida Gator Head Coach @coachjackb had three words after dominant win against the Kentucky Wildcats, "Fear the Swamp!" The Gators got off to a quick start after picking off Kentucky Junior Quarterback Brock Vandagriff in the very first drive of the game, one of five interceptions that day. The Gators then scored their first touchdown on the next play with a short 13 yard pass to Tight End Arlis Boardingham in the endzone. The Gators went on to score four more touchdowns in the first half, before electing to chew clock in the garbage time that was the entire second half. Despite the uncertainty of the changing coaching staff, the Gators seem to be keeping up the momentum as they move to 6-0.
UK was not ready for the atmosphere that faced them in the Swamp. UK QB Vandegriff blamed not seeing his WR's on sweat in his eyes because he couldn't see any icons when trying to pass, throwing a total of 5 interceptions.
UK was able to find the endzone with a 56 yd td strike to Barion Brown and an interception for six. But that was the only highlights.
Kentucky woes continue on the season and face another storm of strong teams in Tennessee and Auburn.
