Georgia Tech Fan Disappointed in New Coach Debut

Georgia Tech Routed in TilnaciousD Debut

Article By: TilnaciousD

Georgia Tech fans had their delusions crushed Tuesday night as the Yellow Jackets fell 37-7 against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The Irish put together drive-after-drive of offensive power, as the Yellow Jackets failed to suffocate the offensive attack. The defense allowed the opposing quarterback to go 13-13 with 323 passing yards, also allowing 155 on the ground. The only bright spot for Georgia Tech was Jamal Haynes, who managed 205 rushing yards on 16 carries.

New coach TilnaciousD dodged questions after the game, simply stating "on to Virginia Tech."

Perfection!

Notre Dame hasn't been known for flashy offense and big numbers this season. More often than not, the offense's main focus is controlling the game with the dynamic duo of Jerimiyah Love and Jadarian Price. But today if you look deeper into what makes the Notre Dame offense click, you'll see that it's the consistency of grad transfer QB Riley Leonard. Following today's 13/13 performance, Leonard improved to over 80% completion rate on the year, with 11 TDs to 2 INTs... 1 of which was on the opening possession of the season, in the kickoff classic, against Alabama. When Riley is on, he's one of the best in the country.

New Coach Tilnacious seemingly had Georgia Tech ready to go, as lightning quick HB Jamal Haynes caught the defense napping on the the GT opening drive, taking off for an 81yd TD. But it was all downhill from there, as Notre Dame seemed to have the answer after every big play that QB Haynes King would make. Like a well trained counter puncher, ND would deflect or dodge the first punch, only to immediately connect with a counter of their own. The final today, behind Leonard's performance was ND 37 - GT 7.

Coach Reign: "I don't think the score shows how prepared Coach Tilnacious was. He had some creative schemes and certainly caught us off guard. After some adjustments, we were able to devise a plan that was a bit risky, but allowed us to contain some stuff. The offense was rolling today, thankfully, which afforded the defense some time to gather themselves. A solid performance from GT today and looking forward to future matchups."
