In another Owen McCown-led Pick Fest, the UTSA Roadrunners lost the Tulsa Golden Hurricane 38-7 early Sunday morning. McCown added 4 more interceptions to his 2024 campaign, bring him to a 3rd-worse 25 interceptions on the season. Only NC State's Grayson McCall and Wisconsin's Tyler Van Dyke have thrown more this season.
Kevorian Barnes added 82 yards on the ground to top 600 yards on the season.

The Golden Hurricane Defense finally came to play, causing 4 INTs in a 38-7 win against the visiting UTSA Road Runners.
Cardell Williams had a near-flawless game going 21-25 for 274 and 2 TDs with zero INTs on the day. When Williams plays like this, the Tulsa offense is nearly unstoppable.
Anthony Watkins went over the 1,000-yard mark on the season putting up 104 yards and WRs Ballard and Benjamin both had 6 catches a piece.
The offense is to be expected, but the defense shined in Tulsa as the Golden Hurricane allowed a season-low 7 pts and allowed a total of 187 yards.
Keuan Parker led the Golden Hurricane with 2 INTs to set the tone.
If the defense plays like this, there's a real shot the Golden Hurricane can sneak into the Conference Championship for a potential rematch vs. the Temple Owls
