Tigers Control the 12th Man

The Tigers went into Kyle Field this past Saturday for a crucial SEC Conference game. Nussmeier and Co. were stumped early on offense and had to lean on the gritty defense to reach a slim lead of only 14-10 at the half. This stalemate continued through the 3rd quarter as the loud Aggie crowd was influential going into the 4th quarter with the lead trimming down to 3. Going 0-7 on 3rd down all day, the Tigers were bailed out by the Defense once again as they forced a total of 4 INTs and 2 defensive TDs. The impressive LB crew of Penn III and Perkins Jr. totaled 24 tackles and held off the Aggie offense to secure a needed W.
