Kansas gave K-State a lesson tonight in the Sunflower Showdown. The Wildcats never stood a chance against their archrival as Kansas controlled the game in all aspects. "I would like to blame turnovers, but I can't we were out performed at every level tonight. Offense, defense, effort, game plan, and skill. This team that beat us tonight is good enough on every level to make noise in the 12 team playoff." Coach bearass on Kansas.
Avery Johnson had no rhythm, the Cats couldn't run or throw. 0 TDs to 2 INTs isn't going to get it done. The only reason the Cats got on the board was a missed tackle on Dylan Edwards on a sweep he was able to break for a long TD. The defense ineptitude was that main issue. If things don't change on that side of the ball Coach bearass' days a numbered and dwindling.
Daniels didn't have to do much in this one with Neals dominance after rushing for 199 yards on 9 carries with 4 TDs! Neal nearly had 1 TD for every 2 carries! The team had 25 total carries as running clock became the focus after the early lead
The pass defense showed up in this one after not allowing a TD and forcing 2 INTs. However, the run defense was nowhere to be found after allowing Edwards to average 8.8 yards and a TD
