Coach Kroben and the Spartans loose another close game in a very deep Big10 Conference.
Coach TattooBoy really came into East Lansing with a solid game plan that coach Korben just didnt have an answer for.
Spartan Qb Chiles continued his great play but the little voice whispering in his head got the better of him today with 3 picks. Coach Korben said after the game "After checking the tape if Chiles would have went to Marsh instead on a couple of those plays we may be having a very different conversation here today."
Chiles tried to claw the Spartans back in the Forth Quarter hitting the ever reliable Foster Jr. on a long 62 yard bomb and leading a successful two minute offense for another score. Unfortunately for Sparty it was too little too late.

It was the Hoosier defense that sunk the Spartans Saturday afternoon in East Lancing. Michigan State wasn't able to get a consistent run game going and had to rely on the pass. Unfortunately, three of those passes landed in Hoosier hands, one for six the other way.
Coach P was nervous going into this one. "If you watch MSU's film, they are in every game they play. They find a way to keep it close. They do a lot with a little irrespective of their record. I've watched enough film to know when a supposedly bad team can beat you. This is one of them".
The Hoosiers were up 21-3 early and became conservative. Unfortunately, sometimes playing it safe gets you beat. After a pick 6 of their own the score was 21-10 at the half. Again, the Hoosiers controlled the third quarter, and it was 31-10 heading into the 4th. Coach P's backside clinched even tighter in the 4th quarter when it became a run, run, run, let the clock tick then run again. On the other side of the ball the Spartans began to pick the Hoosier secondary apart. MSU down 21 points after 3 was fortunate to recover and onside kick and secure the win. Momentum was not on their side late in the 4th.
