This game was over at the end of the first quarter. Bowling Green was just a different animal today in Mt. Pleasant Michigan. Bowling green forced 6 turnovers and kept the Chips running attack at its lowest output of the season. As a coach and player this is not a game you want to be a part of. Bowling Green was just hitting out there and we weren't responding. Central Michigan has to regroup as up next is number 19th Toledo and their powerful offense. The Chips fall to 4-5 with 3 games remaining...We feel 2 of those are equal matchups and winnable. We would love to get to 6 victories and became bowl eligible, that was our goal at the beginning of the season...6 wins and a bowl, that goal is still reachable

6 Players had atleast 1 rush for the Falcons vs CMU
CMU brought forth their best effort to challenge the BGSU defenders to maintain their responsibilities on defense. CMU QB Bert Emanuel Jr is one of the fastest twitchiest QBs in CFB 25, and there were many times on this day he showed some flashes of what can be with him, however there were 3 times where Emanuel was picked off and 3 additional times where Emanuel's teammates took a huge hit and coughed it up.
After those big hits and a long 99 yard interception for Star safety Lorfils, the Falcons leaned on their run game featuring up to 6 different guys to get a carry, led by Terion Stewart Jr, who tallied 4 tds on the day.
Ultimately CMU made it competitive on the board with some splashy high passing plays late in the game, and have all the potential to become bowl eligible, as BGSU looks to continue to fight for a shot at the MAC championship
