On NC State's first possession, Grayson McCall dropped back and forgot where the buttons were and threw to a receiver who was covered that he didn't mean to throw to at all and after starting a good first drive, the game went down hill from there. GT would score a 25 yard fg, followed by a missed fg from NC State and GT would mount a solid running game and score on the ground twice more before half from 5 and 3 yards out. After building a 17-0 lead and giving NC State all kinds of trouble, they did give up a solid drive for the Pack as they reached the endzone from 3 yards out from Jordan Waters.
Second half was all Yellow Jackets as they would score a safety after an incredible Pack interception in the redzone and then they would take on a 57 yard pass, 21 yard fg and a 25 yard passing play to increase the ass kicking to 36-7.

Georgia Tech proved hangovers don't exist as they cruised to victory over NC State coming off an upset over in-state rival Georgia. The sold out crowd at Bobby Dodd Stadium watched as the Yellow Jackets slowly but surely ran down the field during the first half, earning a 17-7 advantage going into halftime.
The Yellow Jackets started off the second half slowly, punting off their first possession as the fans nervously wondered whether the Wolfpack could bring the game within one possession. That would not happen, as the Killer Bees would shut out the NC State offense in the second half, adding a safety and 17 more from the offense.
Eric Singleton Jr. stole the show, mounting 173 and two touchdowns off five receptions. Coach TilnaciousD wasn't satisfied, referencing two dropped passes in crucial moments for the Bees.
The Jackets are expected to finish the regular season against UMass, deciding whether they are a perfectly average .500 or better.
