Temple topples UTSA

Article By: UnTouchable8

Forrest Brock threw for 198 yards and 3 TDs, the Owl defense forced 4 turnovers, and the Temple Owls beat the UTSA Roadrunners 38-7 to move to 10-1 on the season and remain undefeated in the AAC.

Owen McCown continued to interception ways by adding 4 more to the stat board to reach 38 on the season, 30 more than he has thrown touchdowns. Kevorian Barnes broke 100 yards on the day yet again, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide of the turnover-prone Roadrunners.

Things looked bright for the Runners as they scored on their opening drive to take an early 7-0 lead. But that didn't last long as the Owls scored 38 unanswered.

Good luck to the Owls and their coach as they hope to make a playoff berth!

Temple moves to 10-1

Temple came into this game knowing that the record wasn't the freatest for UTSA but that meant nothing. They knew that no matter what record the team they were going against, didn't matter. I guess all the sprints from the week prior instilled that into their brains. After letting up a pretty easy TD to UTSA, Forrest Brock locked in and so did the defense. 38 points unanswered from the owls, gave them a win to remain undefeated in conference. The defense continued to add more turnovers into the stats as they had 4 touchdowns. Junior WR John Adams was able to score his first touchdown of the season for the owls also. A great night to remember for all traveling back to south Philly getting ready for their conference championship game. Good luck to UTSA coach with the rest of the season and seasons to come.
