The crowd could be heard chanting "Eat S*** Pitt" as the Louisville offense finally decided to come alive after a dormant season. It was lead by Chaney gaining 180 yards and 3 TDs off of 23 rushes. Shough showed light as he did not throw a single INT (although did fumble) but instead went 13-17 for 166 yards and 2 TDs.
The Louisville Defense also stepped up, sacking Pitt's Yarnell 4 times and intercepting it 3 times.
This game was all Louisville from the coin toss!
The Pitt offensive line had no answers for the Defense of Louisville.
It didn't matter if Pitt rushed, passed, RPO, etc, the Louisville defense played lights out football today.
As far as defense for Pitt, they struggled all game too as they had no answers for Junior HB Donald Chaney.
He had 23 rushes for 180 yards and 3 TDs. There were plays where he was like a greased up runaway bowling ball that my guys could not grab a hold of.
Pitt came alive early in the 4th, but at that point, Louisville was up 38-6, so their defense was on cruise mode by that point.
Louisville's passing game was on point today to as Senior QB Tyler Shough went 13 of 17 for 166 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs.
Pitt's D had no sacks or INT's this game and struggled all game to do anything against the Cardinals offense.
