UCF had a bit of a stumble down the stretch with a TOUGH Big 12 schedule, but they capped off their season on a high-note downing Utah 27-10.
A new playbook, some new tactics and coaching help from the likes of Dcane and others through scrims helped us get back on track and get our minds right.
UCF established the run early in this one getting off to a 7-0 start, but Utah came back hot scoring 10 unanswered to put the Knights back on their heels.
"We were thinking, here we go again..." said coach RB, but they kept their cool and composure, stepped up and made some big defensive plays to for 3 Ute's INTs to put their clamps on in the 2nd half.
UCF scored a FG in the half to go up 7, and then never looked back, adding a TD in the 3rd and another FG in the 4th to secure at 27-10 win. There rumblings around Orlando, will coach RB stay and prove he can win in a big conference with this team or move on? Time will tell.
In a un-surprising turn of events, Utah was thoroughly outplayed by UCF in their recent matchup. The game was marked by UCF's dominant performance on both sides of the ball, with their offense exploiting Utah's defense and their defense stifling Utah's attempts to get anything going. UCF's game plan executed flawlessly, leading to a lopsided score that left Utah reeling.
