Huskies were able to pull off a couple of opportune running plays in order to hold off a red hot CMU comeback in the fourth quarter.

Coach Ank hoping to keep his job at CMU after a torrid finish to the season

Once again, the inability to stop the run cost the Chips late in the season. CMU has taken a total nosedive to end the season as they finish 3-7 after a strong 2-0 start. The stars just didn't line up for us once again. We are in games. It's just a play here or there that keeps us from winning. This game it was an interception right before the half that put us behind the 8 ball against the Huskies. When you are as bad as we on defense you can't give those extra possessions to the opponent. We just have to get better next season. When asked if coach Ank will return. He said absolutely (long pause) unless 1 job comes open. I will be a CHIP next season
