Beavers avoid the Bronco Trap
Article By: Oregon State invaded Boise for a battle and came out battered & bruised, this game was a hard fought battle that came down to the wire. In OT the Beavers would secure the game clinching INT to setup a Hayes game-winning field goal.
After the game the coaches exchanged pleasantries, but let's be honest the Beavers avoided the trap just barely.

Valiant effort falls short in OT against #7 Oregon St.Clutch gene dies off in OT
Article By: The Broncos decided to rock the Blue on Blue for the first time this season and brought their A game as a home dog against the exceptionally talented Oregon St Beavers who rank #7 in the country. It was the same old story for Malachi Nelson, who took an awful safety and had two picks, one a backbreaker in OT to give the Beavers the victory.
In a game that featured the Broncos comeback from a 30-14 halftime deficit, holding the Beavers s scoreless in the 2nd half, converting a 4th and goal, and converting 2 2pt conversions to send it to overtime, Coach Roc and the Broncos forgot what got them there and Malachi Nelson threw one his on brand interceptions on the first play of OT to giftwrap the reeling Beavers a much needed win that would have likely kicked them out of the CFP, and added another notch to Boise St's 'giant killer' reputation.
Sadly it was all for naught. A 5 game-winning streak is snapped and a bittersweet end to the regular season that had Cioach Roc start 1-4, only to finish 7-5 with a MWC Championship appearance. This one was for national attention rather than conference prestige. With BSU leaving for the Pac-12 soon, there should be plenty of opportunities for revenge in the coming years.
When asked about his future with Boise St, amid rumors of his departure to greener pastures, Coach Roc simply said "We're on to the MWC Championship".
