UAB Gets 1st Win!!!

UAB actually held onto a lead. With the help of 2 defensive TDs and the legs of Beebe Jr UAB defeated The Nevada Wolfpack 42-28. The Wolfpack started strong taking a 7-0 lead in the 1st, but UABs defense owned the second qtr setting uo 28 unanswered points to give UAB a nice cushion going imto halftime until they decided to get laxy and give a long pass TD with 2 seconds making it 28-14 at the half. UABs offense was having none of that and answered quickly with a nice sccoring drive to open the 2nd half. Nevada would continue to scrap to stay around until Adrian Maddux picked up a fumble and returned it for a TD to seal the deal. UAB needed this vistory to get off the snide. Hopefully better are to come when the conference games get started.
