LSU suffered its second loss of the season (both away from Death Valley) at 6th ranked Kansas. The Tigers knew they had a tough task ahead of them with the strong QB/RB duo from the Jayhawks but could not find a way to stop them all game. The normally stout Tiger D was nowhere to be found forcing no TOs, no sacks, and giving up 506 yards from a healthy run/pass split. Nussmeier found some success in the air in the later half of the game, but going down a quick 14 points in the 1st quarter was ultimately too much to overcome.
The Tigers look to get right on the road against Texas A&M and then host Bama the following week.

The lethal combination of Daniels and Neal were on full display. Daniels finished the game with 3 incompletions and 2 TDs. Neal rushed for nearly 200 yards and 4 TDs while also gathering in a receiving TD. When these 2 are playing their best the Jayhawks offense is nearly impossible to stop
The defense had their hands full in this one and had to play a bend dont break style. Cobee Bryant forced the only turnover in the game and the defense forced 2 sacks
