USM opens season with rivalry game W

Article By: driccio21

USM opened their 1st season under Coach DRiccio21 with a 30-9 win in a rivalry game over Louisiana Tech.

This game brought the return of the old ball coach, the godfather, the deadbeat dad who walked out on us, JEFFMO. "I wanted first cracks at him" said Coach Riccio in the post game press conference. "The NDL is a family, we're grateful for what he did to start this family, but he left us. We don't forget things like that and if we are going to welcome him back to this family that lived on without him for over a decade i wanted to be the one to get him first".

The Golden Eagles marched down the field on their first drive and seemingly had a wide open TD only to get jumped by a great play by the La Tech CB who picked it off at the 1 yard line. USM defense was able to stuff any potential danger pretty much all game and eventually pulled away with some interceptions and hard nose run defense.

The offense was led by their running backs and Rodemaker slung the rock around pretty well but did turn it over twice on the day, uncharacteristic for him in his preseason play.

It was a game of online football

JeffMo's return to NCAA College Football 25 online after over a decade hiatus was met with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Opting to lead his beloved Louisiana Tech, he faced off against Riccio's formidable Southern Miss team. The opening moments of the game were nostalgic, the familiar sights and sounds bringing back fond memories.

However, the gameplay had evolved significantly since JeffMo's last foray. Rusty from years of absence, he struggled to keep pace with Riccio's well-honed strategies. Southern Miss quickly capitalized on JeffMo's mistakes, racking up an early lead. Despite his best efforts, JeffMo's Louisiana Tech trailed 17-3 by halftime, his only points coming from a field goal.

In the second half, JeffMo tried to rally his team, but Riccio's defense was impenetrable. Missed tackles and errant passes plagued JeffMo's game, preventing any significant comeback. Southern Miss continued to dominate, extending their lead with precise plays and strong defense. The final score, 30-9, was a harsh reminder of JeffMo's time away from the game.

Despite the loss, JeffMo found joy in reconnecting with a game he loved. The defeat served as motivation, sparking a renewed determination to improve and reclaim his former glory in the competitive world of NCAA College Football 25. -- Recap Courtesy of ChatGPT
