The Hokies finally got win #1 by putting together their best overall game and complete game. The offense was balanced splitting rushing and passing yards evenly. The defense was able to shut Texas tech down. They won 38-14 coach Neal hopes this is the start of a winning streak. “ you have win one to start a streak.”
Well to put it mildly the TT rust showed tonight. We couldn’t get anything going until the 2nd half. VT started the game with two great drives to go up 14-0. TT would drive deep in the 2q but it would end in a missed FG and even after a pick at there own end another missed chance at points. VT would end the half with a great drive to go up 21-0 after a K. Drones 1yd TD run. 2h started with a VT 50yd Fg to make it 24-0. And 31-0 after a Gallo 11yd TD Rec. From there TT would get some mop up TDS to make it 38-14.
