The Marshall Thundering Herd get in the win column against Western Michigan here tonight. The opened the game on the opening kickoff with a 101-yard kickoff return touchdown. The Herd never looked back from there. They would cruise to a 20-0 lead at the end of the first quarter and extend that lead to 23 at halftime. They would end up scoring 26 more points in the fourth quarter to all but seal this game. Highlighted by running back, Marquis Boston, who led the team in rushing with 16 carries for 251 yards and 4 touchdowns.
