Auburn was feeling pretty good about themselves, fresh off a huge Iron Bowl win, and they were up 21-7 in this contest. Then it happened... 4 straight throws by the Auburn QB were picked off and one housed for 6. The Tigers defense played well but the offense kept turning things over. A great game called by the UConn coach to not give the ball right back as they took full advantage of the Auburn mistakes, scoring 24 straight points to defeat the Tigers 31-24. Tigers RB had a decent game and they should have just kept feeding him. Hindsight is always 20/20 as they say. Auburn has one more game to go on the season against the Aggies.
UCONN picked up their 3rd win of the season, coming back from a 21-7 deficit against Auburn. Down 21-7 with Auburn driving at the end of the second half, a pick 6 got the Huskies back in the game. UCONN's defense continued to keep the team in the game, only giving up 3 points in the entire second half.
