Guaranteed Rate Bowl - It was 17-14 with 2:09 left in the game when the BYU D rose up and picked PSU off in Lion territory. Run the ball - not on my watch, Cougs throw a pick to essentially end the game as a fourth quarter meltdown ensued. Coach TStep "It was a disappointing loss the way we went out. We talk to the kids about opportunity and we simply blew it. Hats off to the PSU D who shut down the run and forced two critical turnover."
Penn State caps off a dissapointing season with the Bowl victory over BYU.
The game was a slug fest early as both teams would trade punts as they were feeling each other out.
The lions would get a key sack to push the Cougars out of field goal range and than put a drive together themselves to get 3 before half.
Both squads would get touchdowns in the third quarter as teh offenses started to find some space.
BYU would get a big pick and set themselves up with some momentum down three but on the first offenseive play they would toss a pick six. The momentum swing was to much and Penn State would cruise from there.
Good Game TStep, had alot of fun shooting the stuff.
