Turnovers End Cards Season on a Sad Note

Article By: Ofc Meep

In what was a common theme for the Cardinals season, turnovers destroyed the Louisville Offense. The O gave up the ball 5 times, 3 times through the air and a fumble by both Chaney and Lacy.

Although shooting themselves in the foot frequently, the Louisville offense still managed to move the ball some. Chaney had 96 yards rushing (18 attempts, 1 TD) and 146 yards receiving (14 receptions, 0 TDs). Shough went 33-45 for 453 yards and 1 TD, still racking a 151.8 QBR despite throwing 3 INTs.

The Louisville defense played poorly, creating no turnovers and never sacking the Purdue QB.

When asked about the season ending, Coach Ofc Meep stated, "Turnovers have been killing us all season, moving us from what should have been a top-tier ACC season to a mid to bottom tier team." His future is up for debate, as he has shown frustration with the Cardinal program throughout the season and the fanbase has shown him the same animosity back.
